I have spent many happy hours reading aloud to my three kids, snuggled together while sharing the ups and downs of a good story. I love traveling -- inside a book or outside in the world -- but I'm always happy to plant both feet on the floor beneath a writing desk. My goal is to write books that make young readers smile, consider something in a new way, and dare to be their truest and bravest selves.
I also enjoy short-track speedskating, cooking (and eating!), walking my two dogs Charlotte and Wilbur (thank you, E.B. White), and rooting for the cancer research my husband and best friend does for a living.
