More about Jean (Woestendiek) Letai

I studied Creative Writing at Princeton University, where I edited the Nassau Weekly and was fortunate to have wonderful mentors, including John McPhee, Joyce Carol Oates, Robert K. Massie, and J.D. McClatchy. I also taught English in Japan, completed an MBA from the University of Chicago, and worked in nonprofit development and strategic planning. While raising three kids, I savored many happy hours reading aloud with them, traveling through the ups and downs of a good story.
